Areas of expertise
phD in 1988 on parasitoid communities associated with seed-feeding beetles in Ivory Coast. Director of Research at INRA. I'm a taxonomist and an evolutionary biologist working on insects. My main groups of interest are chalcid wasps, including fig wasps and parasitic wasps used for biological control, e.g. Trichogramma. I'm involved in several projects dealing with phylogenomics of Chalcidoidea (Agaonidae, Pteromalidae and Chalcididae); Carabidae; Bark-Beetles, Sphingid and Saturniid moths. I'm also analyzing communities of vectors that transmit Xylella fastidiosa to plants in Europe.
