Areas of expertise
The goal of my research is to describe the biodiversity of marine molluscs, approaching a phylogenetic point of view, and linking this diversity to biogeographical patterns. Also, through the study of the anatomy of these molluscs, the characters of the shell and the soft parts are linked to the different aspects of their biology, aiming to understand the specific adaptations they have. Actually, species of bivalves, gastropods, polyplacophorans and aplacophorans are under investigations in my lab. I teach on Invertebrate Zoology.
